9 Healthy Sleep Tips

1. Try to keep a regular sleeping schedule.  Go to bed and wake up around the same time each day.
2. Avoid napping during the day.
3. Avoid caffeine, alcohol and nicotine for at least 2-3 hours before going to bed.
4. Make your room dark when you sleep.
5. Associate your bed with sleeping.
6. Exercise during the day, but not too close to bedtime.
7. Do not eat large meals right before you go to sleep.
8. Keep the temperature comfortable in your bedroom.
9. Avoid stress right before bed.
