Dairy Foods And Nasal Congestion

Do you or your child drink a LOT of milk and eat a LOT of dairy products?  Do you or your child constantly have stuffy noses and can't figure out why?  Sometimes milk can cause nasal stuffiness since milk is a mucous producer!

Try avoiding dairy products for a week or two and see if the symptoms clear up.  You or your child may be having an allergic reaction to dairy.

Save Money On Hand Soap

Did you know that foaming hand soap is half water and half soap?  To save money, either use the regular soap with the normal soap dispenser or you can make your own foaming soap.

To make foaming soap, you will need a foaming soap bottle and pump, water and regular liquid soap.  Fill the bottle halfway with water then add soap until the mixture reaches just below the neck of the bottle.  Screw the foaming soap pump back onto the bottle and shake.  You have homemade foaming soap for half the price!

Pasta Reheating Tips

When reheating pasta in the microwave or in the oven, the pasta noodles normally dry out.  To solve this problem, add a little moisture back to the noodles before cooking.  For milk-based sauces, add a dash of milk.  For tomato-based sauces, add a dash of water.  Add the milk or water, depending on the sauce, and reheat.  Your noodles will not be dried out!

Save Money At Costco

If you want to know the best way to save even more money at Costco, use their monthly coupon booklet!  They have thousands of dollars worth of coupons and they last around 3 weeks before the next coupon booklet comes out.  I like to buy non-perishable items when their coupons are out.  If there is a 3 item limit for that coupon, I will normally buy 3 during the coupon cycle.

Let's say that the Kirkland Children's Allergy Medicine has a coupon right now and it has a limit of 3 that you can purchase.  Each 2 bottle package normally costs around $10 each.  They are now on sale for $3 off each package.  I will buy 3 packages over the 3 week coupon period to get the maximum savings.  Since I know we will use it before expiration and I have the room for them, it's an easy decision that saved me $9 over the already low Costco price!

How do I Earn Money From Home?

If you enjoy writing and would like to make a little extra money, HubPages is the place for you!  You can write about anything under the sun.  I have had the most success with how-to articles, recipes and parenting articles.  HubPages is a free site where writers go to write articles for others to view.  The great thing about HubPages is that it is connected to so many other writers who would also like to look at your work.  At first you may get a few cents per day or week from an article, but as you build up articles and followers, you make more money.

I mostly make my money from ads placed on my articles that are related to the subject.  If someone clicks on an ad, I get a little money.  They don't even have to buy anything!  I am up to a little over 20 Hubs and I am making around 10 cents per day.  It doesn't sound like much, but it is passive income.  I will even be making that much if I decide to take a vacation.  The more articles you write, the more you make per day.

It is tough in the beginning.  You will have very few Hubs and make very little money, but as you write more articles you will see your earnings increase.  It's cumulative.  The trick is to stick with it and keep writing.  A couple people who have been writing Hubs for a few years are making around $1000 a month!!!

I usually write for around a half an hour a day.  It doesn't take very long and it is great passive income. You have to love making money while your sleeping!  If you would like to learn more about HubPages you can click here to go to their website.  Good Luck Hubbing!!!

Swagbucks Review: Get Cash Fast

I have been trying to find ways to make money online from home since I began staying at home with my kids 5 years ago. I have tried crafts, pay-per-clicks, surveys and writing online. So far, I have made the most money off of surveys. Here is my Number 1 Money-making survey site:

1. Swagbucks - Earn Swagbucks which you can redeem for gift cards, magazine subscriptions, paypal cash and all sorts of other prizes. It is very easy to get to the cashout point. I normally get the $5 Amazon gift card code for 450 points (which add up quickly). To get Swagbucks you search the internet through their website, watch videos, do surveys, invite friends to join, shop online through their site (you just have to go through the Swagbucks site to get to the store sites and then make your purchase as usual), complete special offers, vote in daily polls, find Swag Codes, send in photos and videos and trade in books or video games. You can choose which you would like to do, how much time you want to spend and how often you want to do it. If you want to take a month off, that's fine. If you want to spend all day on it, you can do that too. I am normally able to cash out for a $5 Amazon card once a week and I usually spend about 10-15 minutes on it a day.
