During the winter especially, the skin on my fingers get so dry that the skin on my fingers splits around my fingernails. I have found a solution to cracked, dry skin! Use New-Skin or Liquid Bandage on the split skin and then moisturize your hands regularly with a heavy duty, thick moisturizer. The splits usually go away within a week and they are much less painful!
My hands and nails are a mess. I need to use this nightly on my cuticles. Thanks for posting.
ReplyDeleteEver since winter began, the skin on the tips of my fingers have been splitting. The liquid band-aid gets rid of the pain from the split skin and holds it together!
ReplyDeleteNewest follower from the Anything Goes linkup. I definitely need some lotion like this. When I knit my fingers get soooooo dry it's ridiculous. I have to take a break from knitting for a few days because the dry skin catches on all the yarn and it's just terrible! I'm definitely trying this out!

I know what you mean. It is painful to buckle my kids into their car seats when my fingers are cracked and dry!
ReplyDeleteNew-Skin or Liquid Bandage is great to use on kids during the summer. Especially if you plan to go to the pool!
