Today, I decided to make a recipe that used up a variety of items from my pantry. I made Pasta Fagioli! I put all the ingredients in. I used only half the amount of ground beef that the recipe called for, but I had run out of spaghetti sauce. Since I was running over to Target anyway to pick up a gift for a birthday, I looked for a deal and bought two jars of spaghetti sauce that were on sale for $1.79 each. My new total for the week is still under my $50 budget. My new total for the week is around $42.
